Prof Markovitz is a character in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me, portrayed by Milo Sperber.

Markowitz is a renowned scientist who is working for Karl Stromberg. He designs the submarine-tracking device along with his colleague, Dr Bechmann. When the device is complete, Stromberg decides that instead of paying them they have outlived their usefulness and has their helicopter blown up.
