Aliza Gur (born April 1, 1944) was born Aliza Gross. She was Miss Israel of 1960, and was a runner up to Miss Universe that same year. Her parents left Germany during Hitler’s reign and settled in Israel where she and her brother were born.
She eventually came to the United States and settled in California where she began her film and television career. Aliza’s been married a couple of times, once to Sy Shulman, and once to Sheldon Shrager.
Her television credits include guest appearances on “Get Smart” (1965), _”Wild, Wild West, The” (1965)_ and several other shows. Movie credits included From From Russia With Love (1963) (as gypsy girl Vida), Kill a Dragon (1967), and as an extra in The Ten Commandments (1956). The female lead in the film, Daniela Bianchi, had been Gur’s roommate at the 1960 Miss Universe pageant and placed second in the competition.
